I’m Greg Beaulieu and this is my personal blog. I was born in the Halifax Infirmary on Queen Street in Halifax on July 26, 1956. I graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, Saint Mary’s University, and Dalhousie University. After a short career in the private sector, I joined the Nova Scotia public service in 1982, working at the Victoria General Hospital, the Department of Municipal Affairs, Finance, Priorities and Planning, and Tourism & Culture, before moving to the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation in 2003.

As of the summer of 2014, I retired from that life and am looking to write the next chapter. I might use this space to write about public policy, my past career, whisky, cats, or who-knows what. Regardless, I speak only for myself in this space, and not for any past, current, or future employers.
